EY Malta has inaugurated its newly refurbished offices in Msida.

The Workplace of the Future project followed guidelines set out by EY Global offices and brings a complete overhaul to the ‘traditional office’ space, the company said.

Designed to encourage flexibility, collaboration and a better environment for the existing 200+ workforce, the office combines sleek aesthetics, cutting-edge technology and strategically developed workspaces to deliver EY’s people a trust-based, output-oriented culture that enables flexibility and high-performance teaming in today’s 24/7 working world.

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat congratulated the company.

He said its steady growth in the past 15 years was also a tribute to the expansion of the financial services sector.

"It gives me great pleasure to join you in celebrating the extension of the Managed Services hub, which is taking on 50 new employees. This shows that those companies which take calculated risks and branch out to new markets can succeed," Dr Muscat said.

Ronald Attard, Country Managing Partner, EY Malta said ‘EY was born in the year 2000 and since then we have all worked hard to secure the firm’s place in the big four firmament.

‘Now as the firm grows both in terms of revenues and staff complement, so does the need for more space, which is what brings us here tonight. Along with the architects who I thank for their work, we set out to create a contemporary workplace which is analogous to a city where one finds areas where to chat, relax, eat, learn and work together comfortably’, concluded Mr Attard.
