Obituaries

AGIUS. On November 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSEMARIE, aged 85, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Mai Saunders, her brother Bertie and his wife Phyllis, her in-laws, beloved nephews and nieces and their children who she loved unconditionally as if they were her own, other relatives and friends. Many thanks to the medical staff at St Vincent de Paul and Mater Dei Hospital. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Friday at 2.30 pm at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema. May she rest in peace.

FARRUGIA. On November 14, JOSEPH, aged 69, peacefully left this world to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his son Mario and his wife Michelle, and grandchildren Matthew and Benjamin, his mother Josephine, his brothers and sisters, his inlaws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 3pm for Naxxar parish church, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by internment in the family grave at Naxxar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Dementia Society will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

FORMOSA. On November 13, CHARLES, aged 74, former police major 272, passed peacefully away surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Carmen, his sons Marvin and his wife Fiona and Oliver and his wife Angela, his grandchildren Matthew, Julian and Emma, his sister Rose and her husband Tony, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

SPITERI. On November 8, JOSEPH MARK, former police superintendent, aged 97, passed away to eternal rest, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved niece Luigia and her husband Charles Camilleri, their sons Frank, Brian and his wife Isabella, Neville, and Christopher and his wife Maria, his brother Henry, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for St Lawrence, collegiate parish church, Vittoriosa, where Mass præsente cada­vere will be celebrated at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.
