The Pastoral Formation Institute held a graduation ceremony at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat, for 167 people who completed one of 16 courses held by the institute and other Church entities during the last academic year. It was presided over by Archbishop Charles Scicluna.

The courses dealt with subjects such as evangelisation, Christian and youth leadership, adolescent, youth and family ministry, missiology, Catholic social teaching, liturgy, parish nursing, Carmelite spirituality and spiritual accompaniment.

This year about 200 participants are attending 11 different courses, including new ones on parish life, Franciscan spirituality and respect for life.

A new agency has also been set up to strengthen the accompaniment of participants who have already completed courses by means of support and ongoing formation.
