Jean Stephens, global CEO of RSM, has joined the local RSM member firm to mark its 10th anniversary since launching the RSM network in Malta. RSM is a global network of audit, tax and consulting services professionals.

During an anniversary commemoration for RSM clients and staff in Malta, Ms Stephens praised the firm for its commitment to the RSM network and for upholding the belief that distinguishes the RSM network from other mid-tier firms – empowering clients to move forward with confidence.

The occasion served more than one purpose for the RSM firm in Malta. The new RSM brand identity was brought to life for the benefit of Malta-based clients through an array of brand materials and displays, purposely designed to communicate the key brand messages. The new RSM brand now represents the network in a single unified way across the globe and adopts ‘the Power of Being Understood’ as its brand description.

In her remarks at the event, Maria Micallef, incoming managing partner of RSM in Malta, saluted outgoing managing partner Deo Scerri for his contribution to the firm over the past 10 years.

“I thank Deo for his sterling contribution in building and developing RSM Malta into what it is today. The partners, directors and staff will cherish his values of mutual respect and collaboration and we will together strive to continue empowering our clients every step of the way to maximise their potential,” said Ms Micallef.

Today, the firm employs 75 highly qualified personnel in Malta across various disciplines including tax, audit and consultancy services. RSM International is the world’s sixth largest provider of tax services, has the fifth largest firm in the US and the third largest in China.

RSM International was the fastest growing top 10 global network in 2014, posting an 18 per cent increase in revenue, year-on-year, to $4.4 billion for the year ending December 31, 2014.
