Calvin Ayre, Canadian entrepreneur and founder of the Bodog entertainment brand, will be participating in the panel discussion ‘Century of Gaming’ on Tuesday at the Malta iGaming Seminar 2015 at the Corinthia Hotel, St Julian’s.
Ayre grew Bodog into one of the global gambling industry’s most recognised and trusted brands, earning him a spot on the cover of Forbes’ 2006 Billionaires issue.
Ayre ceased from an active role in Bodog’s gambling operations years ago but has maintained a presence in the business through CalvinAyre.com, which was launched in 2009 and has become a high-profile source for gambling industry news. He currently resides in Antigua and shares his time between overseeing his charitable Calvin Ayre Foundation and discovering promising new technology and finance companies in which to invest.
The discussion will also feature other iGaming veterans such as Paris Smith, CEO of Pinnacle Sports, Mark Blandford, founder of Sportingbet plc, Pontus Lindwall, CEO of Betsson AB, and the retired CEO of Novamatic Group, Franz Wohlfahrt, not to mention Sue Schneider from Egaming Brokerage, who will be moderating the discussion.
