This evening's edition of Fourplay Four at the Manoel Theatre paid tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks.

The French flag was beamed on the screen to the applause of the packed theatre during the curtain call.

"We feel it was our responsibility and duty to show solidarity with the people who were out having a good time in Paris last night, and fell victim to an atrocious act of mass murder," actor and producer Alan Montanaro said after the show.

Aurora Opera House in Gozo also displayed the French flag national colours on its facade this evening as a sign of solidarity in the wake of the Paris attacks.

"Nationality, ethnicity, religion and race, even though they should not, tend to divide us. Music should remind us that, above all, we are part of one humanity. So it is despicable to see violent assaults targeted at houses and patrons of the arts. As a reminder of the one humanity we belong to, the Aurora Opera House  sports the French colours, with sympathy, empathy and support," said Joshua Zammit.
