AGIUS. On Wednesday, November 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALFRED, aged 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by his partner John Muscat and close friends, comforted by the rites of Holy Church after an illness borne with Christian fortitude. He leaves to mourn his loss his relatives, numerous friends and colleagues from the Office of the President, and more recently the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, November 14 at 7.15am for the Collegiate parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Senglea, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 7.45am. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Community Chest Fund, Valletta, Hospice Malta, Balzan, and the Missionary Society of St Paul, Rabat, will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant him eternal rest.
FLERI-SOLER. On November 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, TANCRED, aged 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his son Peter and his wife Caroline, his daughter Paula, his beloved grandchildren Jeremy, Michaela and Ally, his sister Rose and her husband Joseph Galea, his brother Tony and his wife Anne, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Julians parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Requiescat in pace.
XUEREB. On November 11, at Villa Messina, Rabat, MARY, aged 94, went to meet the Risen Lord. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Ramon and his wife Josephine, Irma and her husband Joe Zammit Ciantar, Tanya and her husband Ronnie Vella, and Marina and her husband Giro Pantaleo, her brother Manolo Cuesta and his wife Mary, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
