On October 22, I had an accident in my London hotel and was referred to University College London Hospital, where I was well cared for. After treatment the doctor in charge suggested that after a day’s rest I should cut my holiday short and return to Malta.

The Malta High Commission was contacted, and the lady I spoke to told me to go to Heathrow airport and contact the officer in charge of Air Malta.

Mario Ghio went out of his way to help me get on the first available flight home, and this he did in record time.

I was given a new ticket for KM107 and after boarding the plane I was given first class attention by the purser Adrian Grech, who also contacted Air Malta for me to have wheelchair service on arrival. Thank you Air Malta.
