• A charity car boot sale will be held today from 8am to 1pm at the football ground next to Victoria’s main car park by Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo. Sellers pay €10 per car space.

• A blood donation session will be held at Dar San Pietru u San Pawl, next to Mnarja Band Club, Nadur, today from 8.30am to 1pm.

• Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will preside over today’s 9.15am Mass at Nadur parish church on the occasion of the celebration of the feast of St Coronatus. A procession around the village streets, accompanied by Mnarja Band, will start at 4.30pm.

• A Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at Independence Square, Victoria, today at 10.30am.

• Pixels (PG) and The Good Lie (12A) will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm and 8pm respectively.

• Gozitan artists Christopher Saliba and Paul Stellini are displaying a collection of landscape paintings of their homeland in an exhibition entitled Places at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, until Friday. The exhibition is open daily from 8am to 4pm.

• An exhibition of sacred art paintings by artist Aaron Formosa entitled Light of the World is being held at the Banca Giuratale, from Friday to November 30. Opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8am to 2.30pm, and on Saturdays and Sun­days from 9am to 1pm.

• A cultural tour to Malta is being organised by Wirt Għawdex on Wednesday. The two main highlights will be a visit to the Great Siege Exhibition at the Grandmaster’s Palace, Valletta, and a guided tour of the newly restored Fort St Angelo.

• An hour of adoration will be held on Thursday from 9 to 10am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Victoria, by Il-Fergha Ewkaristika (Għawdex). The rosary will be recited at 8.45am.

• A seminar entitled ‘Diabetes – the role of diet and physical activity in the prevention and management of this condition’ will be held on Friday at 6pm at the Gozo Ministry, Victoria. It is organised by the Gozo General Hospital’s Outpatients’ Department in conjunction with the Health Promotion Unit. The public is invited to attend.

• A prayer evening will be held by the diocesan Eucharistic Movement at Xewkija parish church on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• The traditional St Martin’s dinner in aid of the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria, will be held at the seminary on Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are available from the seminary by calling 2155 6479.

• An original rock opera in Maltese entitled Ġwanninu will be staged at Don Bosco Oratory Theatre on Saturday at 7.30pm, on Sunday at 2.30pm and on November 21 at 7.30pm. It recounts the life of St John Bosco through a two-hour show of music, song and dance. Booking is open at the oratory every day after 5pm. For tickets call 2155 6616 or 9948 7751.
