IQ at Bay Street has added Swedish brand Cheap Monday to its multibrand mix.

It all started in 2004 when the tight denim with the characteristic skull logo first hit the market.

Despite its remote location and, thanks to a very good selection of garments, the store went well and the decision was taken to open up a bigger shop in central Stockholm. In 2005, Cheap Monday was developed into a brand with full-scale collections and the distribution was extended to selected stores in Sweden as well as abroad.

Today, Cheap Monday carries main collections for men and women. In 2008 the brand joined forces with H&M and in 2009 the very first Cheap Monday store opened in Copenhagen.

Despite its fast growth, the original idea of the brand remains to offer customers pieces that compete with high-end brands in attitude, fashion and quality.

Cheap Monday joins a line-up of brands at IQ, including Scotch & Soda, Maison Scotch, Ben Sherman and Nudie Jeans.

IQ can be found on Level 0 at Bay Street, St Julian’s.
