BAJADA. On November 1, LYDIA of Valletta, aged 80, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Ronald and his wife Maria, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for St Augustine parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GAMBIN HOLLAND. On October 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, GRACE, aged 83, passed away peacefully to eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Jeremy and his wife Lorraine, Rachel, Jonathan and his wife Anna, Naomi, Timmy and his wife Belinda; her grandchildren Ilona, Justin and Jeff, Axel, Jeannine, Chloe and Gerald, Jamie and Taran; her great-grandchildren Michelle, Jake, Ellie and Zach; her brother John Holland and his wife Margaret, her sisters-in-law Lina Gambin and Rose Holland, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, November 7 at 8.30am for Pembroke parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May she rest in peace.

JUMP. On November 1, at St James Capua Hospital, MICHAEL EDWARD PEARSON, born in Farnham, England, called from above, peacefully after a long and productive life. He will always be loved and remembered by his wife Stella, his son Richard, his daughter Rosemary, grand­children Elizabeth and Alice, other close relatives and numerous friends. A funeral service præsente cadavere will be held tomorrow at the St Paul’s Pro-Cathedral in Valletta at 11am, followed by interment at Mosta Cemetery. The family would appreciate if, instead of flowers, donations be sent to the Ophthalmology Department at Mater Dei Hospital. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCICLUNA. On November 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT of Valletta, aged 76, suddenly passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maria, his daughters Josiann and her husband David Mallia and Monica and her husband Jason Fenech, his grandchildren Kenneth, Kirsten, Fran­cesca and Michela, his brothers and sisters, Maryrose, widow of John Midolo, Antoinette and her husband John Portelli, Josephine and her husband Emmanuel Micallef, in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
