Italian fashion brand Luisa Spagnoli, in collaboration with Executive Holidays, hosted a fashion show on board Celebrity Silhouette in Grand Harbour during which €12,000 were raised for the Malta Community Chest Fund.

The show, which was patronised by President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca and some 200 guests, unveiled Luisa Spagnoli’s new autumn/winter collection.

The event, followed by a lavish lunch, featured 40 outfits that included a selection that re-defined chic and sleek, marrying sophistication with modernity.

Sartorial traditions and patterns from the 1940s, 1950s and 1970s were presented in contemporary taste, while dresses elegantly accentuated the waist. A city style that moves with ease from the flared, wide A-line, 1950s inspired skirts to the 1970s palazzo pants was also highlighted.

Fur coats in grey, plum and beige hues fit different occasions this winter, while knitwear hints at Luisa Spagnoli’s 1960s catalogue. A very colourful palette makes these outfits more appealing to the younger generation aided by a most versatile and irresistible choice of accessories.

Romina Grech Fenech from Sterling Group, representatives of the brand in Malta, said after three years on the island Luisa Spagnoli was highly respected for its top quality, sophistication and prestige.

The collection is available at the Luisa Spagnoli outlet, Unit 4, Pjazza Tigné, Sliema.
