A discussion on challenges faced by young entrepreneurs and SMEs is being organised tomorrow from 9am to noon at the main campus of the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, Paola.

It will be following by a visit to the Mcast Entrepreneurship Centre, which gives students and alumni the opportunity to transform creative and innovative ideas into profitable and sustainable business ventures.

The centre also helps existing entrepreneurs find information on available support and seeks to encourage more people to set up their own businesses.

The event is being held by the centre at the end of European SME Week, a pan-European campaign of activities coordinated by the European Commission that aims to promote entrepreneurship in Europe. The theme of the week was ‘Digitising the economy’.
