The atmosphere at Valletta Waterfront will take on a spooky tinge during the last weekend of October as the promenade will go orange and black for Halloween.

The façade will be bathed in shades of fiery orange, while mysterious silhouettes will appear against the coloured doors of the historic buildings.

The little ones will have the opportunity to try their hands at fun Halloween crafts or jump around on one of the bouncy castles. Eerie nautical characters will roam the promenade with treats.

They can enjoy a walkabout with Frejgatinu, featuring an animated tour of the Pinto Stores. The tour actively involves children by asking questions and helping them seek situations to which they can relate the newly-acquired information. The satirical approach adopted makes the tour an entertaining way of discovering little-known facts about 18th-century mercantile trade in the harbour and more.

Attendees are invited to wear a costume. All activities are free of charge.

The event will be held on October 30 and 31 from 7pm and on November 1, from 12.30pm.
