The Mdina Grand Prix classic car tournament came to a close last Sunday with Roberto Farneti, driving a Lotus 23B 1963, being proclaimed winner.

Farneti, from Ravenna, is a long-time sports car driver. His racing accomplishments include winning the Italian GT4 cup in 2004.

This year’s prize was Chopard’s Mille Miglia GTS 2015, a watch known for its power, resistance and aesthetics, presented to Farneti by Drew Campbell-Smith from Chopard and Malcolm Lowell from Edwards, Lowell.

Chopard, internationally, has been the Mille Miglia race sponsor and timekeeper since 1988. The brand has introduced a limited edition watch.
