The St Francis Prayer Group is organising a course of seven lectures concerning the theme: ‘Priesthood: a life consecrated to the service of God and men’.

These lectures, to be held every Tuesday, will start on Tuesday at 7.10pm at St Francis Centre, Ħamrun, the entrance to which is accessible from Lidl supermarket’s parking place. At 6.30pm there will be a session of praise.

The talks will be delivered in Maltese. The teachings will touch on the biblical aspects of priesthood in the Old and New Testaments.

These will be followed by talks on the spirituality of the good shepherd, the priest as builder of the community, priesthood and the Holy Eucharist and the priest’s humanity.
