L’Erbolario has opened its first store in Malta, introducing the phytocosmetics range that has made it a leading brand in Italy.

The store, in Merchants Street, Valletta, offers a range of over 600 products, all from plant origins, stylishly packaged and displayed.

L’Erbolario is a family business, founded in Lodi in 1978 by husband and wife team Franco Bergamaschi and Daniela Villa.

In pursuit of their passion for plants and their healing properties, the duo has transformed extracts from roses, lavender, honeysuckle and many other plants into perfumes, oils, soaps, hair conditioners and home fragrances, combining the best of traditional herbalist methods with the most advanced cosmetics research.

Subject to strict controls and tested by the University of Pavia, products are manufacted at L’Erbolario’s factory in Lodi, near Milan.

The company has received many awards over the past three years for its philosophy and practice.
