FENECH. On October 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELINA, née Bonavia, widow of Joseph, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Rose Mary, wife of Lino Soler and Roger and his wife Catherine, née Leaver, her grandchildren Rachel, Joanna, Rossella and their husbands, and Julien, her great-grandchildren Daniel, Julia and Sergio, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 2pm at Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Special thanks go to the medical/nursing staff of Ward M6, Mater Dei Hospital, for their care and dedication. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Valletta roads closed for filming
Parts of St Ursola Street and East Street in Valletta will be closed to vehicular traffic over the weekend because of filming.
These roads will be closed from tomorrow at noon to Monday at 8pm and between Tuesday at 4pm and Thursday at 8am as follows:
St Ursola Street – from St John Street to Archbishop Street – will be closed to traffic and vehicles will be diverted onto St Christopher Street.
East Street – from St Christopher Street to Victoria Gate – will be closed and cars diverted onto Mediterranean Street to Quarries Wharf.
Power cuts
Due to scheduled maintenance works on the electricity grid, there will be power cuts on Monday in, or parts of, the following areas:
Between 8am and noon in Valletta and Marsa roads, Żurrieq.
Between 8am and noon in Valletta Road, Mqabba.
Between 8am and 2pm in Kartoċċ, L-Istasija, Kwarta, Mezza, G. Lebrun and Nofs streets, Swieqi.
Between 8am and 2pm in St Mary’s Chapel, Tarġa, Kampanjol, Ir-Rummiena and Magħtab streets and Qbiela Alley, Naxxar.
Between 8am and 3pm in St Publius, Nafra, Ħal Musulmett, Jean de la Valette, Bajtar, Tuffieħ and Qoton streets, Naxxar.
