He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Maryrose, his son Kendrick and his fiancée Melanie, his mother Doris, his sisters Marthese and Sister Alexandra, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for Valley Road, Birkirkara, from where the Duke of Connaught’s Own Band will accompany the cortège to St Helen’s Basilica where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at St George’s Cemetery, Qormi. FENECH. On October 16, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMELINA, née Bonavia, widow of Joseph, aged 94, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Rose Mary, wife of Lino Soler and Roger and his wife Catherine, née Leaver, her grandchildren Rachel, Joanna, Rossella and their husbands, and Julien, her great-grandchildren Daniel, Julia and Sergio, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2pm at Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Mdina Road closed
Mdina Road in Attard is being closed off to traffic during the night, between 10pm and 5am, for works on the National Flood Relief Project.
The carriageway towards Valletta is being reduced to one lane from 7pm to 10pm. Vehicles coming from Rabat will be diverted to Valletta Road, Karm Debono Street, Main Street and then to De Paul Avenue. The road will be open throughout the day.
Works will be completed in the first week of November.
