The French President, Francois Hollande, added his own meat to the argument regarding a British exit from the EU when he claimed, last week, that inthe event of a (hopefully) successful ‘Brexit’, Great Britain would be “leaving the EU and leaving democracy”.

Is it possible that Monsieur Hollande has conveniently airbrushed the fact that both the President of the European Commission and the President of the Council of Europe are unelected?

Democracy, what democracy?
