This summer, almost 200 participants responded to the call for a chance to be chosen as The Face of Diet Kinnie. Launched via Facebook, The Face of Diet Kinnie competition is looking for the right person to represent the brand, Diet Kinnie, and feature in a nationwide campaign throughout 2016.

Besides this, the winner will also get a chance to participate in an all-expenses paid dream fashion shoot in the UK and a one year modelling contract with leading model agency, Supernova Models – Malta. And not only, but the photo shoot will be used for an editorial feature on Pink magazine.

Forty applicants were shortlisted from the initial 200+ entrants. After a face-to-face interview with each one, these 40 were further narrowed down to 13 finalists. These finalists have already undergone a number of challenges and in the coming weeks they will also be attending modelling lessons under the guidance of Marisa Grima, well known in Malta’s modelling and fashion scene in preparation for them.

All finalists will be walking the catwalk during the next Pink fashion show which being held in November. The overall winner of The Face of Diet Kinnie competition will be announced shortly after.

It was only natural that the brand would launch its own platform. The Face of Diet Kinnie competitions started in 2012 following a great campaign the previous year with Tiffany Pisani, winner of Britain’s Next Top Model 2010. The winner of the first-ever Face of Diet Kinnie competition was Bettina Pace, who featured in our 2012 campaigns. We now look forward to announcing this year’s winner!”

It is going to be very tough to choose just one winner,” commented Grima, stylist and image consultant, directing this year’s competition.
