RAUSI. On October 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, ALBERT, aged 94, widower of Tessie, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons Albert and his wife Carmen, Stephen and his wife Josette, his daughter Veronica, his grandchildren Cristina and her husband Anthony Demajo, Alexia and her husband Andrew Gingell Littlejohn, Alexander, Michela and her husband Albert Cilia, his great-grandchildren Zoe, Luke, Matthew and Paul, his sisters-in-law Gemma Callus and Pat Attard, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be appreciated.
SCHEMBRI. On October 12, at Mater Dei Hospital, CONCETTA, née Partescano, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Joseph, her children Dorothy and her husband Nicholas Windibank, Natalie and her husband Lawrence Borg, her grandsons Gabriel and Raphael and his fiancée Marian, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

Call for proposals
Pjazza Teatru Rjal has launched a call for proposals for the artistic calendar of 2016. Individuals, theatre, dance and performance companies, cultural entities and private organisations interested in putting up productions at the theatre next year should submit proposals by not later than November 13.
