This year’s Budget offers a healthy mix of incentives targeting the private sector many of which were being implemented with the collaboration of the Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises (GRTU).

In its reaction, the GRTU said most of its priority areas were addressed and a good number of proposals taken up. This, it said, would further secure the country’s economic growth.

It, however, expressed dissatisfaction that the energy tariffs were not reduced and said it would continue with representations in this regard.
