The former Pretoria home of Oscar Pistorius will become a party house. Two businessmen are renting the house where the infamous Paralympian shot and killed his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, on Valentine’s Day 2013.

Business partners David Scott and Kagiso Mokoape explain their plan on turning the luxury home into a party house in a video, released by Afrikaans news website Netwerk24. Their aim is to ‘get rid of the negative energy’ by organising events and parties during the weekend.

The video shows the inside of the ‘murder house’. Scott even indicates the window of the bathroom where Steenkamp died, saying that a ladder had been found outside the home, but that people probably did not believe Pistorius’ version of the story, that an intruder had entered the home through that window.

The video already received numerous bad reactions on YouTube. On his Facebook Scott added that ‘The house is about celebrating life and to be reminded about how precious it is! Not to make a mockery.’

Pistorius has been in prison for nearly a year after being charged with culpable homicide. His next parole hearing will be on October 21.
