Astronauts aboard the International Space Station inserted an effervescent tablet into a floating ball of water as part of a test of a new camera, capable of recording four times the resolution of normal high-definition cameras.

NASA says the high resolution images can provide more information when used during science experiments.

The cameras are also being evaluated by engineers at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama.
