Mcast Freshers’ Week was held at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology main campus last week. Various activities were held for new students to learn more about the college, the respective institutes and student services. These included orientation visits, library tours, information talks, percussion workshops, creative arts installation performances, hair, beauty and self-defence demonstrations, treasure hunts, competitions and a football tournament. Student organisations, industry partners and several NGOs also set up stands. Among the visitors were President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, Education Minister Evarist Bartolo (second from right) and Shadow Education Minister Therese Comodini Cachia.
