A manual of activities for youth groups called X’Jimpurtani has been published by the Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice.

It contains 10 sessions about the impact of the media, fair trade, poverty, immigration, politics, the environment, work and war. They include interactive ways of animating sessions for groups of young people through exercises, videos, music, PowerPoint presentations and moments of prayer.

The aim of the manual is to help young people grow into responsible and socially conscious citizens. It is co-funded by the Kummissjoni Djocesana Zghazagh (KDZ).

A training seminar called Jimpurtani to equip youth group leaders with the basic knowledge and skills to use the manual will be held on October 23 and 24 at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Rabat. It is funded by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector’s Small Initiatives Support – Voluntary Organisations fund.
