Dzeko: Roma striker Edin Dzeko will start for Bosnia-Herzegovina against Wales today, according to reports. The summer signing from Manchester City has not featured for the Giallorossi since the win over Carpi last month, as he’s been struggling with a knee injury. However, Sky reported last night that Dzeko has been passed fit by doctors with the national team, and will be in the starting line-up for tonight’s match.

Watford: Watford have been hit with a FA charge following last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Bournemouth. The Hornets players were unhappy when referee Michael Oliver gave Bournemouth an 82nd-minute penalty for Etienne Capoue’s foul on Adam Smith. But their protests have earned the club an FA rap for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. Hornets goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes saved Glenn Murray’s penalty as Watford clung on for a point.

Imorou: Caen defender Emmanuel Imorou has signed a two-year contract extension with the Ligue 1 club. The 27-year-old Benin international left-back, who joined Caen from Ligue 2 side Clermont in June 2014, has now agreed fresh terms to stay at the Stade Michel d’Ornano until 2019. Imorou tweeted: “I am very pleased to announce the extension of my contract with the @SMCaen_officiel until 2019!”

Vietto: Atletico Madrid forward Luciano Vietto will be sidelined for up to a month after undergoing surgery to remove his appendix. Vietto, who scored the equaliser in Atletico’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid last Sunday, complained of abdominal pains and had his appendix removed during an operation in Madrid on Thursday. Atletico confirmed the player will need at least three to four weeks to recover, meaning Vietto is likely to be unavailable for his side’s La Liga matches against Real Sociedad, Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna as well as the Champions League double-header against Astana.
