A number of week-long placements in financial services firms are being once again offered to 160 students from secondary schools as part of a career exposure experience.

Invitation letters to take part in this initiative are being sent to firms by the Education Psychosocial Services section of the Education Ministry and the Educational Consultative Council of the Malta Financial Services Authority.

This joint collaborative project is now in its seventh year having started in 2009, and some 100 students have benefitted from it in every year.

This programme, which will run from November to July, helps students get an initial taste of duties and responsibilities involved in working in the financial services sector.
