The Malta Communication Authority provided 9,500 hours of free ICT training to 4,700 people as part of the project Enter, which came to a close yesterday.

Those taking part were between 25 and 64, and 77 per cent were women. The majority were aged between 55 and 64. The project budget was €445,000, part-financed by the EU through the European Social Funds (ESF).

Participants were offered free ICT training at two levels: the first for those with no ICT skills and the second to strengthen basic skills and apply them in the workplace.
