Probe: UEFA’s disciplinary committee is investigating an incident involving Lokomotiv Moscow fans during the 2-0 Europa League win over Skenderbeu on Thursday. The Group H game was marred by Lokomotiv supporters chanting political slogans and calling for violence against their Albanian opponents. The Russian Cup holders have already apologised to Sken-derbeu and said they would punish those involved.

Milan Stadium: Reports in Italy said yesterday that Inter and Milan will be meeting today over a new stadium to be shared by the two Serie A rivals. Milan were originally looking to build a stadium of their own in Portello but the project hit a snag after a series of complications with property owners. TuttoSport said Milan’s Barbara Berlusconi will hold discussions with Michael Bolingbroke who will represent Inter.

Coutinho: Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho has withdrawn from Brazil’s squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Venezuela. The 23-year-old played the full 90 minutes of Sunday’s 1-1 Merseyside derby draw at Goodison Park. However, the Brazilian Football Confederation announced yesterday he has pulled out of their squad with an unspecified injury. His place in the squad has been taken by Kaka.

Chelsea Ladies: Chelsea Ladies clinched the FA Women’s Super League title for the first time with a 4-0 home victory over Sunderland Ladies on the final day of the season on Sunday. England striker Fran Kirby scored twice in the convincing win, with Ji So-yun and Gemma Davison also on target, as Chelsea sealed the double, having won the Women’s FA Cup in August. Chelsea were guaranteed the title providing they won, as nearest rivals Manchester City Women were two points adrift heading into the closing round of games.

Lacazette: Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette has been called up to the France squad to replace the injured Paul-Georges Ntep for friendlies against Armenia and Denmark, the French federation said yesterday. Rennes forward Ntep suffered a torn muscle in his left thigh in a 1-1 draw at Monaco on Sunday. Lacazette, who had a difficult start to the season, scored the only goal in Lyon’s 1-0 home win against Reims on Saturday.
