More than 500 people took part in a Walk, Cycle, Run event, raising €5,216.14 in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.

Acting President Dolores Cristina, Archbishop Charles Scicluna, Opposition leader Simon Busuttil, Labour Party deputy leader Toni Abela and politicians from both sides of the House also took part.

Those who participated in the walk started off at Siġġiewi’s main square, while runners left from Żurrieq. Others rode bicycles from Cathedral Square in Mdina following a blessing by Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona. A group of motorcyclists left from Luxol Grounds in Pembroke.

On their arrival at Id-Dar tal-Providenza, participants attended an open-air Mass in the home’s parking area.
