At the first morning assembly of the new scholastic year at Victoria primary, school head Lelio Spiteri presented Year 6 pupil Karl Curmi a token of appreciation on behalf of the school staff. Curmi performed a heroic deed a few weeks ago when he saved a young boy from drowning at Marsalforn Bay. Gozo College principal Victor Galea attended the ceremony.
