Wine-loving visitors at Valletta’s Notte Bianca tomorrow will be able to dine in style and take advantage of numerous offers on Delicata’s wines in a variety of establishments throughout the capital city.

Whether your choice of cuisine is Mediterranean, Italian, French, oriental or a Maltese platter at a wine bar, Delicata’s wide range of award-winning wines will be available.

In certain areas Delicata wine stalls have been erected to promote an assortment of their IGT and DOK quality wine brands.

All art and musical forms are represented in the annual cultural event: from classical to pop music, from choral to contemporary.

State palaces and museums open their doors almost all night long, with many playing host to visual art exhibitions, dance and theatre performances.

Streets and squares become venues for open-air concerts by some of Malta’s finest local artists as well as a variety of international musicians and dancers. Cafés, wine bars and restaurants open until very late and food stalls and tables occupy the streets.

Arts Council Malta organises Notte Bianca with the support of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Culture and LocalGovernment. The programme is designed to ensure every area of Valletta is involved, from the entrance at City Gate to the far end of the peninsula and everywhere in-between.

This year the Gozo Channel will operate a ferry to Valletta Waterfront and back on the night. Departure from Mġarr, Gozo will be at 5.30pm and from Valletta Waterfront at 1am. Tickets for this special Notte Bianca ferry can be purchased on a first-come first-served basis today from the Mġarr passenger terminal ticket booth. The maximum capacity of the ferry is 900 passengers.
