Have you ever had a fit of laughter that you just could not control? Olympia Madonia took it to the next level during a live transmission yesterday of the popular Italian TV quiz show Avanti un Altro, on Canale 5.

Olympia, 39, debuts in the four-minute clip with a hysterical laugh she is unable to recover from.

Presenter Paolo Bonolis, who is renowned for teasing guests, did not miss out on the opportunity. He was prepared for the guest from a behind-the-scenes run in which Olympia had the same sort of laughing fit.

“Oh dear, it’s this one,” he says as she walks in, igniting the cackles. Eventually, he addresses the audience at home adding more fodder for Olympia’s laughter:

“Perhaps I should explain a little what is going on here because from a distance it might sound like some sort of porn film. Here we have this participant, who has got this thing…”

Her fit was probably the result of nerves at being on the popular live show.

Unperturbed, Olympia perseveres and eventually manages to say something about herself and even introduces her family.

In the end, she is saved by a commercial break but the clip of her performance has now gone viral in Italy.
