CHETCUTI. On September 27, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, JOSEPHINE, née Azzopardi, of Balzan, widow of Paul, aged 86, a most beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully after a short illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Hector and his wife Monica, Oliver and his wife Marica and Paul, her grandchildren, Jonathan, Alison, Lara, Karl, Karen and Adrian and their respective spouses and partners, her great-grandchildren Gigi, Hugh and Eric, her sister Carmen, her brother Vincent residing in Canada, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre today at 8am for the Annunciation parish church, Balzan, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the medical staff and carers at RW4, Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, for their care, attention and support. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
