In the UK, a 65-year-old-man, whose contentious views, questionable political policies as well as lack of respect for nationalinstitutions have attracted harshcriticism from both the media and from a large proportion of the public, has been elected leader of the Opposition and, therefore, this man could potentially become prime minister.
Here in Malta, a 63-year-old man, highly respected by his colleagues, renowned for his professionalism, knowledge and expertise in his chosen field of medicine and considered totally dedicated, caring and supportive by his patients, is forced to retire.
As one of those patients, I wish to offer my support and grateful thanks to Albert Fenech.
