The 10th edition of the Qala International Folk Festival ended last Sunday. The three-day event included performances by Ite ad Joseph band, Menħir folk group, other local groups and folk groups from Siekieracy, Poland, and Puglia, Italy. A conference on archaeology was held at Qala local council and a traditional Maltese folk dinner was held at Qala Square, which included Italian food prepared by Gruppo Folkloristico di Acquaviva delle Fonti and folk singing by Mario Caruana. The festival was organised by Qala council and Menħir folk group.
