The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology has issued a second call for applications for entry into its full-time courses. Applications will be received between Tuesday and Friday, both days included, at the respective Mcast institutes.

Mcast’s full-time courses beginning in October range from introductory certificate courses to higher national diploma and degree programmes.

This year the college is offering 12 new courses, including six degree programmes.

For the first time, Mcast will be introducing the new vocational area of performing arts. Other courses on offer include diplomas in horticulture, fish husbandry and fish management, building services, plumbing, construction, restoration and furniture making, postal services and in electronics – biomedical engineering.

Applicants who have not yet received their resit results may apply provisionally. Applicants must fill in application form A in triplicate and submit it with:

• their original certificates/result slips and photocopies of each certificate/result slip;

• their ID card and its photocopy from both sides. Students who are 16 by the application date must renew and present a new ID card.

• their original school-leaving certificate.

Another person may present the applicant’s application as long as it is signed by the latter.

People presenting an application in the name of another person must also present their ID card.
