Simon Busuttil is a breath of fresh air in a country where lack of transparency, meritocracy and accountability has led to institutionalised corruption. He is determined to do away with corruption and replace it with honesty.

In the last two-and-a-half years the Nationalist Opposition put forward more proposals than Labour did when they were in opposition for almost 25 years. In these two-and-a-half years the only government ‘investment’ has been the sale of passports, which was overshadowed by secrecy from the start and which was not even included in the electoral manifesto.

It is a fact that the Maltese people are still reaping the benefits of PN policies but without good governance. Busuttil has pledged to present proposals to restore the governance Malta deserves. His word is a guarantee, given the radical changes he has already brought about in his party.

This leader is set to make a difference. He is convinced honesty is the best policy. Clarity is his hallmark. Respecting the intelligence of voters is a priority. Without having to resort to promising everything to everyone, through his vision he will – with dignity – present opportunities for all while focusing on the creation of wealth sustained by the highest ethical standards.

Busuttil has outstanding credentials to be the next honest successful Prime Minister that Malta deserves.
