On Tuesday between 10am and 1pm, the Traffic Snake Game for All (TSG) will take place at the President’s Kitchen Garden in Attard to coincide with European Mobility Week.

The event is being organised by Paragon Europe with the participation of Transport Malta and will include games for children about road safety and demonstrations. Children are invited to bring along their bicycles, scooters and more to be used during the demonstrations.

The TSG is a European campaign, funded under Intelligent Energy Europe of the European Commission, aims to promote the use of sustainable modes of transport for home-school trips to children, their parents and teachers.

The objective is to remove negative perceptions of sustainable modes of transport, such as safety concerns, while advocating the health benefits and enjoyment that it can generate for both children and parents.

TSG has resulted in an increased number of people using sustainable transport and therefore, carbon emissions have been reduced.
