This looks like a tricky match for champions Hibernians as they take on neighbouring rivals Tarxien Rainbows.

Tomorrow’s derby will be the first chapter of a hectic week for Hibs as their next match will be against Valletta on Wednesday.

“I’m expecting a difficult match,” Hibs coach Branko Nisevic said.

“Tarxien had a great start and took points against some quality teams, so we need to be prepared.”

The Paolites will be without striker Denni who starts a two-match ban while goalkeeper Jurgen Borg is in line for a comeback.

Jacques Scerri, the Tarxien coach, has his own selection problems as striker Anderson is out with ankle ligament damage while defender Matthew Tabone is still plagued by knee trouble.

Defender Daniel Zerafa is rated as doubtful with a shoulder injury.
