I am writing this letter to put forward my concerns relating to unreceived items from abroad.

About a year ago I bought a laptop, from eBay, costing around €500 but it never arrived. The tracking information provided showed clearly that the item had been dispatched and had left the UK. Phone calls to the concerned authority were useless since no one had an answer for me. I was lucky to get my money back from eBay.

Again, a few months ago I ordered a smartphone, costing about €400, through the same e-commerce company. The same thing happened, the phone never arrived! And again, the tracking info showed that the item had been sent from the UK to Malta. I got my money back again.

But this is a bit weird. Can someone concerned give me some answers on these facts? When I contacted the sellers, they were very angry and said they would never sell to Malta again since this was not the first time that items had got ‘lost’ in Malta.

In fact, when buying from eBay, Malta is often listed as a place where the sellers do not post to!
