Around 280 knights from all over the world, including Malta, attended Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral to record the 450th anniversary of the Great Siege. Archbishop Charles Scicluna spoke about the importance of peace and how the Order and Malta, both small communities, have much to give to the world. He descibed the Order as the first European Union. Knights from the Order of the Holy Sepulchre and the Venerable Order of St John also attended.
