The Stradivarius autumn/winter 2015 collection has arrived and is full of 70s inspiration, telling a story about music and emotions.

The model, Cate Underwood, gives life to a DJ who narrates her feelings and thoughts when she goes up on stage. Music is her passion and what gives her energy.

The photographers, Bela Adler and Salvador Fresneda, were the ones behind the lens and have captured the essence of the collection, which is inspired by a strong 70s look and offers a renewed vision of the decade without forgetting the most representative fittings – A-line skirts and flared pants.

Glam rock

The 70s rock scene leaves us clear influences in the must-haves of the season: nappa garments like vests and jackets, fluid floral print dresses with peak necklines and fit and flare silhouettes in glamorous rock looks.

The ultimate groupie style comes with A-line skirts and coats with the same silhouette.

The snake prints and rodeo reminiscences (studs, contrast stitching details on blouses and western inspiration details) are mixed to result in a very wearable and trendy combination.

Other season keys are the velvet blazer, shirts with tie detail and skinny scarves to give a 70s strong spirit to any look.

Retro 70s

The most retro side of the 70s has presence in geometric patterns, patchwork and spikes garments, resulting in an urban and preppy style.

The denim hint is provided by dresses, jumpers and skirts: clothes that are typically made of this fabric and which give the outfit a truly feminine touch.

They are esssential pieces for this season that can be mixed sometimes with patchwork suede or snake prints.

Stradivarius outlets can be found at The Point, Tigné, and in Valletta.
