MIZZI. On September 10, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, ALBERT (Bertie), aged 87, after a short illness, went to meet his Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Elda, née Radmilli, his dear son Alec and his wife Bernie, his adored granddaughter Stephie, his sister Sophie Grech, his sisters-in-law Lilian Mizzi, Rita Mizzi and Iris Sciortino, his brothers-in-law Derek Vella and Louis Radmilli, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends and colleagues. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital today at 8am for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Caritas, Floriana, and Puttinu Cares Children’s Cancer Support Group, Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei Hospital, would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
