This weekend, young Rodren Vella will be enjoying his first experience at the Snetterton 300 Circuit in Norwich, UK, for the sixth round of the 2015 Tegiwa Civic Cup Championship.
Unfortunately, Bernard Galea, who lies fourth in the championship, will not be joining him after failing to secure enough sponsors to fund his participation.
Vella is currently sixth in the 2015 Civic Championship with 125 points after five rounds.
His best performance was, of course, his second-race victory at Anglesey Coastal Circuit in Wales while the fifth and sixth places in the two races at Silverstone were also encouraging.
It is possible that Vella will express himself better at the three-mile Snetterton Circuit than he did at Silverstone.
The qualifying session is scheduled for Sunday at 10.30am UK time, the first race starts at 14.50 UK time, and the second race at 17.50.
These times are subject to change and it is hoped that the weather will be kind for the Maltese driver who is not accustomed to racing in the wet.
The two Civic races will again be broadcast on Motors TV channel and Vella will be displaying the visitMALTA.com logo on his car.
