The contractor seems to have finished the restoration of Block 5, Bastion Street, Senglea. Well done!

However, high tension electrical wire has been carelessly left hanging downwards almost to the pavement – endangering pedestrians who happen to be using this pavement (especially during the night).

To make matters worse, a section of this electrical cable was tied up to garage doors, as one can see from photograph, right.

Formal reports have been made to the competent authorities but the hazard was not removed. Perhaps they are waiting for the ‘accident’ to happen. What a shame!
