Situated in St Paul’s Bay, Pauleen’s Dance and Fitness Studio offers classes in classical ballet, tap, lyrical, modern jazz, contemporary and dance aerobics. Classes are taught by fully trained British Theatre Dance Association certified teachers.

Dancers from Pauleen’s Dance and Fitness Studio attend various dance workshops locally and abroad. They have also performed at prestigious venues abroad including in Skegness, London and Berlin. In June 2009, the studio’s Maltese folk dancers participated in a joint venture with Greek folklore dancers from three different regions in a local hotel in Malta. Moreover, last April the Maltese folk dancers also performed during the enactment of the Aqueduct at St George’s Square, Valletta.

Dance shows are presented regularly. The studio held a successful dance showcase last July at the St Paul’s Bay Primary School hall. Besides television appearances, the studio’s students are frequently asked to participate at official opening events, the annual Malta Horticultural Society event at San Anton Gardens and for philanthropic causes.

The studio’s philosophy is to encourage a passion for the performing arts from an early age by sowing a seed of cultural stimulus that will continue to grow.

Pauleen’s Dance Studio (SLC11503) provides a hub for children to attend classes primarily for enjoyment. However, training is also provided to dancers who wish to become vocationally and professionally involved in dancing, thus also providing an accredited backing to those who want to further their university studies.
