Fifty delegates from 16 countries attended the first summer school on maritime law organised by the local branch of the European Law Students’ Association, ELSA Malta.

The summer law school comprised a week of lectures by some of the best practitioners in the field from leading firms in Malta and other European countries.

The participants also took part in various social activities, including a boat party, cultural visits to Gozo and Valletta, a visit to the Malta Freeport, and a concluding gala reception.

The event was supported by the International Maritime Law Institute at the University of Malta, Deloitte Malta, GM International Services Ltd and Transport Malta.
